In order to obtain aluminum foams with uniform pore structure, the dispersibility of foaming agent TiH2 in aluminum melt, must not be overlooked. Thus more and more attentions are paid to improve the dispersive uniformity of TiH2 particle in the melt as well as preventing their aggregation during the production of aluminum foams.Using GAMBIT software, the 3D model of stirrer vane and the channel of stirrer have been created. Net lattice of stirring flow has been divided. Boundary condition has been established. Applying methods of CFD, MRF and k-εturbulence model, stirring flow field, the dispersibility of TiH2 particle and temperature field in aluminum melt have been researched by using FLUENT6.3 software. The main research results are as follows:(1)The fluid field is changed significantly when the velocity of aluminium melt is above 12.5mm/s (v>12.5mm/s) in the container with diameter 30mm (D=30mm), there exists turbulence;(2) Under the condition of the same velocity of aluminium melt,when stirring speed is slow as 500 rpm, it has little influence on flow field; when stirring speed is between 3000rpm and 4500rpm, flow field changes to be stable state; when stirring speed is high as 6000rpm, flow field is very unstable;(3) On the same fluid velocity and particle velocity,when stirring speed is slow as 500 rpm and 1500rpm, it has little influence on particle dispersion; when stirring speed is between 3000rpm and 4500rpm, there exists the optimal stirring speed making the stirring affect best; when stirring speed is high as 6000rpm, it's not good for particle transportation;(4) When the diameter of the container is 30mm(D=30mm) and blade diameter is 24mm, the pipe inner wall acts as dam-board, it improves the effect of the dispersi-bility of particle when the strring speed is between 3000rpm and 4500rpm;(5) When the diameter of the container is 30mm(D=30mm) and the stirring spe-ed is from 1500rpm to 3000rpm, the ratio between diameter and length of container is 3(L:D=3), the length of pipe is 90mm (L=90mm), The stirring speed has obvious inf- luence on the temperature of particle in the aluminium melt, the temperature of partic-le changes quickly with the stirring speed increasing, when the stirring speed is zero, the time changing from the temperature of particle to the melt temperature is 12 seco-nd, when the stirring speed is 3000 rpm, the time changing from the temperature of particle to the melt temperature is only 1.5 second, the temperature of particle achi-eve the melt temperature quickly.
