In this paper, based on "1580mm hot rolled strip of Shougang Iron and Steel Company", For the situation that the temperature control system of hot rolling is still in primary level in our country, combining with real practice, Studied the key issues of Finishing Temperature Control for Hot Strip. Using MATLAB simulation tools, developed and designed the Strip Finishing temperature simulation software, and the simulation results were compared with field data.the results showed that simulation software has a high accuracy. Finishing temperature control model had been applied to 1580mm hot rolled strip of Shougang Iron and Steel Company, the results verify the accuracy of the model.Main tasks are as follows:(1).Taking a hot rolling production line for example, Temperature control system for hot strip was built. According to micro-tracking method, the strip and cooling unit were divided. Strategy of temperature control for hot strip was studied.(2).Take the export of rough rolling thermometer as a starting point and finishing end at the export Thermometer, studied strip temperature coefficient of heat exchange. The theory about heat emition was applided to deal with the heat radiation, temperature drop by high-pressure cooling water, heat transfer conducting with roller and strip plastic work. High accuracy mathematic modules of temperature control system in hot rolling were built, include air cooled modle, water cooled modle out of the deformation area and heat transfer conducting with roller model and strip plastic work modle in the defomation area.(3).Based on theoretical research, strip finishing temperature simulation software was built by using MATLAB simulation tools.This convenient interface provided a method and convenience for online debugging and the theoretica study.(4).Finishing temperature control model had been applied to 1580mm hot rolled strip of Shougang Iron and Steel Company, the results verify the accuracy of the model.
