| This paper exploits an advanced embedded real-time monitoring system applied to the compounding department of a cast plant to improve the production efficiency by avoiding keeping the compounding records by hands and monitoring the site all the time.The system can be concluded into 4 parts. (1) identify the number of hoppers and containers:compare respectively the fixed data of hoppers and containers in the rectangular coordinate system from the scene and figured out real-time by C8051F020 MCU and HENDENHAIN ROQ425 absolute encoder. (2) collect the data of weighting instrument Unipulse F741:collect duration of low pulse of the being tested instrument constantly, and find the smallest one, then use a PC to imitate the instruments to make sure the baud rate by reduction to absurdity. After that, the weighting data can be collected. (3) send and receive the data wirelessly:the communication of the host and subordinate computers in master-slave mode, of which anti-interference ability is enforced from software and hardware, is developed by C8051F020 MCU and KYL-1020L wireless data transmission module. (4) design the distributed computer system:exploit the browsing system using VB and create database to save and operate the interface monitoring data.This paper combines the four parts mentioned above organically to form a complete set of monitoring system, which can reflect the site efficiently, stably and real-timely after installation, and it not only reduces work, improve the efficiency, but also facilitate the engineer to monitor the site. Most important, it provides a successful example for monitoring foundry industry workshop. |
