Smart materials have a various applications in many fields such as space exploration. It represents the most active and advanced orientation of the materials science since developed rapidly after the 90s of 20th century. And it has a very important influence on the development of science and technology itself, and getting more and more attention. Our studies begin with the wettability of polymer films, then combine with the chemical stability of magnetic materials FePt alloys. Magnetic polymer films were fabricated finally. Smart materials respond to the magnetic stimulation expect to be prepared follow this way. And details are as follows:1. Study on the polymer film. PMMA porous film, PMMA array film and SBS array film were prepared based on template techniques. We prepared the negative micro-structure film successfully from the micro-structure of the template surface, and the wettability of the film has been improved. And superhydrophobic SBS array film was achieved ultimately by adjusting the micro-structure of the film surface from the template. The contact angle of the SBS array film is around 153°.2. Preparation of magnetic materials FePt alloys. We prepared FePt nanoparticles by co-reduction Fe salt and Pt salt in aqueous at room temperature. The synthesis method is simple and easy to operate, and we used less toxic metal precursors, in line with the requirements of green chemistry. The prepared FePt alloys have a chemically disordered face-centered cubic (fcc) structure. Calculations indicate that particles are about 6 nm in diameter ,and the saturation magnetization of the particles is 20emu / g.3. Preparation of magnetic polymer film. Mixed with the magnetic material FePt alloys and polymer material SBS, Superhydrophobic and magnetic SBS film wes prepared based on template techniques. The contact angle of the film is around 158°, and the saturation magnetization of the film is 1.4emu / g.
