Titanium dioxide is a N-Type semiconductor. Materials, which is widely used in photocatalst, photovoltaic conversion and anti-UV , etc.In recent years, much attention has been paid for the nano TiO2 microspheres owing to its better performance in surface effect, volume effect and liquidity. Therefore, vapour-deposition was adopted to prepare nano TiO2 microspheres, and scanning eletron microscopy(SEM) and X-ray diffraction and TG-DSC and other means of characterization methods were used to study its formation mechanism, photocatalytic property and UV resistance mechanism. The main results are as follows:(1)Vapour-deposition was adopted to synthesize nano TiO2 microspheres. And SEM was adopted to study the appearance of the synthesized microspheres which is affected by the solvent quality, the solute concentration, the surfactant concentration and temperature. And XRD and TG-DSC were used to characterize different calcination temperature treatment of titanium dioxide microspheres. The result showed that the solvent quality, the solute concentration and temperature can affect the appearance of the microspheres and its property of agglomeration. The microspheres at room temperature, 400℃,700℃,are no stereotypes, anatase and rutile, respectively. Diameter of the microsphere is about 1 2μm and the size of particles that build up microsphere is about 25 30nm.(2)The result show the optimum technology is: 2ml TBT, 150ml absolute ethyl alcohol, 0.6g CTAB, reaction temperature: 15℃.(3)Through the calcination temperature , calcination time, initial solution pH, initial concentration of methyl orange et al influencing factors researching, the result show the optimum technology is: 600℃, 3h, TiO2 concentration: 2g/L, solution pH=3, the initial concentration of methyl orange: 10mg/L, light source: 300W mercury.(4)The silk textile treated by nano TiO2 slurry shows substantial anti-UV properties , the optimum finishing technology condition is carried out as following : nano TiO2 concentration 2g/L, rolling pressure 2kPa, baking temperature 140℃, dipping time 60min. The UPF value of silk textile is 39.25 and strong washing fastness is also obtained. In the paper, rotary evaporator was adopted to synthesize nano TiO2 microspheres for the first time. And break through the traditional method of the preparation of nano TiO2 microspheres. The technology has many advantages, such us short reaction time, simple control and fewer impurities etc. The technology will provide a reference for other nano TiO2 microspheres.
