In this study, A-O biological filter, photodegradation and ozone oxidation treatment was used to treat coking wastewater. After analyzed the removal rate of different stages of the treatment, the authors also used GC-MS to analyze and study the kinds and content of the organics. On this basis, authors studied the pattern of degradation and transformation of the organics which in the different stages of treating coking wastewater, also, the authors studied the immediately dangerous to the environment. The result showed that after be treated by two-level of biochemistry processing, photodegradation and ozone oxidation treatment, the COD toxicity and genotoxicity of the coking wastewater reduced gradually. The aerobic stage is the main stage of which the kinds and amount of the organics reduced obviously, the index of the immediately dangerous to the environment reduced obviously, The effect of photodegradation after the two-level of biochemistry processing was not good, but compared with the effluent of the biological filter, the index of the immediately dangerous to the environmer reduced 55%,the ozone oxidation treatment after the aerobic stage can reduce the index of the immediately dangerous further, when hydrocarbon and pyridines were degrade further.Used the raw water, the,effluent of anaerobic stage, aerobic stage, photodegradation stage and ozone oxidation stage as object, also according to the index of plant morphology and the method of toxicology, the authors studied the influence of germinating capacity, growing development of bud, and the micronuclear rates by wastewater in different stages, it indicated that there was a concentration effect in mutagenic action of germ plasm and morphology of organism by organics in the different stage to treat coking wastewater. the index of the immediately dangerous to the environment of the coking wastewater rose after the photodegradation treatment, also, the influence of the plant morphology was obviously, but the genotoxieity was not rose. After the ozone oxidation treatment, the inhibitory effect of main shoot length, Length of bud, root weight and bud weight by coking wastewater reduce appreciably, however, the micronuclear rates rose obviously.This study determined the activity of the amylase and the protease in corn seed, then, used the ultraviolet fluorescence spectrometry to analyze the interaction among the amylase, the protease, and coking wastewater which in different stages. The results shows that, inhibitory effect to the activity of the enzyme in corn by coking wastewater exists, though the level of the inhibitory effect is different, also there are some fluorescent substances which were static combined reaction with biomacromolecules in vitro in coking wastewater, the Binding-site number is 1. The results of the GC-MS analysis and the changes of the combining capacity between fluorescent substances and biomacromolecules shows that, the toxicity and amount of the Poisonous organic pollutants in coking wastewater are not risen through the treatment.
