Organic polymer emulsion were widely applied in coatings, adhesives, fiber and paper processing and so on, but this kind of emulsion has its weakness. Such as heat-resistant sent, bad resistant to wipe sex and solvent, low hardness. Adding inorganic nano-particles in organic polymer emulsion can improve its performance giving it the advantages of inorganic and organic compounds. Rare earth elements as new material treasure has good performance on acoustics,electrical,magnetic properties. This paper intends to add CeO2, La2O3 such rare earth nanoparticles to acrylate emulsion intending to improve the performance of acrylate emulsion on in mechanics and optics. Presently,many recarch focus on in-situ emulsion polymer -ization which have good performance and better tolerate to nanoparticles. But this mathod has limite in the choice of polymer emulsion that we can't modify existed polymer emulsion. Physical-mixture method is easy to operate and can modify existed polymer emulsion so it will be very helpful to impeove the performance of some polymer emulsion in big manufacture.. The main research contents include:(1)Nanoparticles were prepared by wet-chemical route; Adopt homogeneous precipitation method for preparation of the average size of 30 50nm spherical nano CeO2; Using hydrothermal legal prepared for 200 400nm average length, bonzi diameter is about the morphology of 50nm for 10 for uniform La2O3 nano stick.(2) Polymer emulsionwas prepared by seed emulsion.By adjusting acrylate latex polymerization monomer ratio, emulsifier, the ratio of synthetic performance we get stability of acrylate polymer emulsion;(3) To improve the dispersion condition and stability of nanoparticles in polymer emulsion, we prepare the stable nano water dispersible system. We improve the stability of system hrough adjusting the PH value of system and choice the optimal PH ; Discusses the relationship between dispersant types,concentration of dispersant dispersion and stability of nano-particles , coordinate the dispersant and system of the optimal PH value, at last we get a better dispersancy nano decentralized system; (4) nanoparticles was disperse in polymer emulsion by physical mixing.We investigated the impact of amount and join way of nanoparticle addition on the performance of polymer films such as mechanical performance, anti-aging properties ,thermal stability and so on.
