The contents of this paper is based on the national "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" technology support program project "ahead of gas disaster identification and classification sub-zone control technology and equipment" (number 2006BAK03B02).Through analyzing the law of usual gas emission, using the advance identification and extracting the monitoring system data, adopting the principle of MDM (maximum degree of membership) in the pattern recognition. Researching the danger coefficient and the condition of the danger spreading on the same or different working fields after unusual gas emission, obtaining the critical value between danger and non-danger of unusual gas emission grading and subarea control is 0.42, and first exploratory presenting advance identification ideology and grading and subarea control technology, and making a design to the KJF333-F2 substation about the function, design principle and typical configuration. Using the monitoring system of safety production automation on the basis of the industrial Ethernet and industrial field bus,which is set gas monitoring,production monitoring,early warning and emergency rescue as one, having a analogue experiment, realizing to use the advance identification ,judge the dangerous level, divide dangerous areas to dangerous areas and adjacent areas,and avoiding the possibility of the secondary disaster because of the unusual gas emission.
