The preparation of copper sheets for anode in electro-plate is oredressing, matte smelting of concentrate, blowing of concentrate, casting of blistercopper, demoulding, quick cooling. Because of the process of preparation which leads to some defects ineluctable, there will be some difficulty to the next craft link of electrolytic refining, and it will go against the long term development of the mining and metallurgy industry, for example, a huge number of waste heat and the power consumption caused by a too large electric resistance. This research is about the cutter and the way selected for the copper sheets for anode in electro-plate machining, and it will analyse the cause of the broken cutter and the relationship between different milling ways, in order to do some help to the practice.According to the distinguishing feature of high speed milling and the material properties, based on the mechanism of high speed milling, this paper describes how to use the numerical methods of nonlinear equation systems to deal with the problem of the finite element analysis, and the method of three-dimensional geometric model establishing, usage of the software DEFORM-3D for the copper sheets for anode in electro-plate machining. And than simulate the process in three different ways but with the same parameters, so as to analyse the force of the milling, the distribution of the milling heat, the cause of the broken cutter and the relationship between different milling ways according to the simulation result.
