Two sugar-based surfactant were synthesized in this thesis, and MWNTs were functionalized with the two surfactant. Glycosylated modifications on the surface of CNTs would improve the dispersion and solubility of CNTs, having promising application in bio-functionalized materials. It provides a way for carbon nanotubes in the biomedical field application. This paper studies the following aspects:We dispersed MWNTS with the surfactant in three amino acids (L-aspartic acid, L-leucine and L-serine).The three amio acids can adjust the sugar-based surfactant on the dispersion of carbon nanotubes. The effects of different amino acids in regulating the dispersion of carbon nanotubes were characterized with UV-vis spectra. We optimized the amino acid and surfactant mass ratio, and it was found that the dispersion of MWNTs in aqueous solution had been greatly improved. We studied on the interaction between functionalized MWNTs and protein.CD method had been used to investigate the conformation of protein indueed by the nanocomposite. We calculate the amount of a-helix and the retention rate of protein, compared the function of to its secondary structure with different amino acids regulated functionalized MWNTs.The results show that functionalized MWNTs and protein complexes can have a good phase capacitive...
