| Pesticide microemulsion has been developed into a very important formulation inthe pesticides industrialization of our country. It utilizes water as the continue phasewith a little or even without harmful organic solvent, and is less toxic, more effective, and more amiable to the environment. The phase diagram presents the phase equilibrium of the material system withdifferent components on certain conditions (temperature, pressure, and concentration). The microemulsion is a thermodynamically stable homogeneous phase system formedby different components. Using the phase diagram, we can intuitively understand theeffect of the concentration of different components on the phase behavior of materialsystems, and determine the form of microemulsion dosage range. In this work, by using pseudo-ternary phase diagram, we investigated the phasebehavior of nonionic and anionic surfactant along with different combination of the twoingredients and screened different emulsifier, solvent, and water hardness. Then, thebest of chlorpyrifos+triaozophos15%microemulsion formulation was determined. Finally, the quality indicators of formulation have been tested. The final formula is: chlorpyrifos5ï¼…,triaozophos10ï¼…,solvent (cyclohexanone+ethyl acetate,3%+4%),surfactant(500#+1602#=6.25%+18.75%),Cosurfactant(n-butanol)3%,silicone defoamer0.5%,ammonium bicarbonate0.2%,3-chloro-1,2-propylene oxide2%,water filled to100%. |
