In this paper, a comprehensive review at thecharacteristics of the pressure sensitive adhesive and the research progress at home and abroad,as well as the basic performance and synthetic process of the pressure-sensitive adhesive.FTIR, DSC, size distribution characterization methods were used to characterize thestructure of pressure-sensitive adhesive emulsion, combined with the conversion rate of thePSA, the Loop Tack, aging resistance and other performance tests. Improve the process,monomer, emulsifier, initiator, etc in the formulation. Finally synthesis of high-performancePSA emulsion used in labels.Discusses the detection of the Loop Tack according to the FINAT FTM9-2005, found thatthe use of BOPP (white), the bar applicator diameter is50μm, the drying time is3min, dryingtemperature is110~115℃, the detection of Loop Tack is the most accurate and stable. Thepolymerization temperature, polymerization process, the type of emulsifier, the amount andproportion of complex, the amount and type of initiator, the glass transition temperature, thefunctional monomer, chain transfer agent factor with the performance of acrylicpressure-sensitive adhesive on the label. The experimental results show that in the same solidcontent, core-shell seeded pre-emulsified semi-continuous PSA was prepared in80~85℃polymerization, emulsion was the most stable and narrow particle size distribution. Acrylic emulsion adhesive for labels was pilot tested, it achieved requirement ofmanufacturers of PSA for labels also could smoothly spread coating in the industrialproduction.The tackifier emulsion and special cross-linking monomer on the influence of the LoopTack, and resistance to aging was studied, found that when using the tackifier emulsionHBR-77can improve the Loop Tack; When used the amount of0.3%NMAM or silanecoupling agent KH-450as cross-linking monomer could significantly improvedpressure-sensitive adhesive of the anti-aging, but will reduce the Loop Tack. |
