| Coordination polymers, especially chiral coordination polymers, arecurrently attracting extensive interest due to their potential applications incatalysis, adsorption, guest exchange, sensor, photonics and electronics.Herein, four achiral rigid nitrogen-containing ligands have been synthesizedand used to build a series of coordination polymers. The as-synthesizedcompounds were characterized by elemental analysis and single-crystalX-ray diffraction.Three achiral dipyridyl-functionalized 1,2,4-oxadiazole ligands L1-L3and a rigid tetra-4-imidazol-functionalized tetraphenylmethane ligand L4were designed and synthesized. L1-L3 were used to construct ten supermolecularcomplexes 1-10 with different metal salts, such as Ag+, Cd2+, Ni2+,Zn2+, Cu2+ and so on. The crystal structures were investigated by X-raydiffraction analysis in detail. And the results indicated that the coordinationgeometry preferred by the metal ions, the counter anions, and the weakinteractions, such as the hydrogen bonding andπ-πinteractions, paly animportant role in determining the topologies of the stable multi-networks. |
