The recoiling machine in BAOSTEEL 2050 hot-rolling production line is usedfor rolling up the strip steel, and it locates at the end of the production line, so therecoiling machine plays an important role. The recoiling machine must use power oilto roll up the strip steel, and power oil is provided by The Rotary Distributor. But inthe production process The Rotary Distributor often breaks down, so it is necessary toconduct in-depth study of The Rotary Distributor.This paper first analyzes the structural characteristics of The ROTOSTAT RotaryDistributor, and gets to know the function of every part. Then this paper analyzes thefeedback control principle of The Rotary Distributor.The static pressure feedback control mode of The Rotary Distributor is set up bythe gap oil film . This paper analyzes the gap flow field characteristics, and derivesformula s of gap flow pressure, flow quantity, bearing capacity, film stiffness andinternal oil friction, etc. At the same time this paper uses software Fluent to analyzeThe Rotary Distributor gap flow model and check the the correctness of thetheoretical analysis .It is found that the oil return system's back pressure has a great influence to theworking life of The Rotary Distributor. So this paper uses the theoretical formula s toanalyze the gap flow field characteristics in different back pressure, and finallyobtains an appropriate pressure range. The compensation structure also has a greatinfluence to The Rotary Distributor, this paper uses Abaqus to analyze thedeformation of the compensation structure in different back pressure, and corrects thegiven range of back pressure.The Rotary Distributor often breaks down, accompanying by high temperature.There are many failure modes of The Rotary Distributor, including the wave spring'sfailure, the Grameen ring's damage and components wear down, etc. This paperdiscusses all possible failure modes, and then gives some suggestions for the produceapplication.
