Springback of Sheet Metal Forming is a common phenomenon, it directly affects the sizeof stamping accuracy. Sheet metal forming springback is the cumulative effects of history, comes from the mold forming process geometry, material properties, the initial shape of thesheet, the process conditions and other factors. To improve the quality of stamping products, especially shortening new product development cycle, must be good predictor of springback, and by making full use of rebounding characteristics, to achieve the desired productrequirements. This article aims to investigate one way of finite element simulation for cushionsegment tooling design validation from the theoretical models and finite element side. Inaddition, this method is also proposed to apply similar parts forming and springback evaluationof the ability for enterprises to provide the basis for the development of relevant evaluationsystem. In this paper, based on the theory of plate material springback analysis and finiteelement simulation of the mechanism of the process parameters on the springback blank chipimplications for the development of resilient sheet material characteristics evaluation systemprovides a theoretical basis. Experimental studies have shown the results of numericalsimulations to predict the rebound height were formed on both sides of 1.3461 and 0.9924mmand the test results were 1.1444 and 1.0274mm , can effectively replace the actual stamping testplate material springback prediction.Quick Design Validation by the FEA simulation, can savethe design and validation resource, also provide one new solution for tooling designer ondesign validation.
