| According to the disadvantage of fixed bed ion exchange process is low utilization of resin and equipment, the packed moving bed ion exchange equipment was designed and established.Using ejector to convey the resin, the effects of relative distance of nozzle out to the mixing chamber inlet, area ratio of venturi to nozzle and conveying water flow on conveying properties of the ejector were studied. Better structure of the ejector and appropriate flow of conveying water were proposed. Then with potassium chloride solution and ammonium bicarbonate solution as raw material liquid,the absorption and elution effect of potassium ion with packed moving bed was studied. In addition, the influence by adding liquid raw material flow rate on packed moving bed ion-exchange process was considered.Experimental results show that preferable relative distance of nozzle out to mixing chamber inlet is 7.5 and area ratio of venturi to nozzle is 2.94, 25~55 L/h is the favourable flow of conveying water. In the potassium ion adsorption and elution operation with packed moving bed, absorption rate of potassium, utilization of resin, ion exchange liquid concentration and utilization of ammonia are higher than that of fixed-bed. with an increase in flow rate, the utilization of resin. will be decreased.The running of equipment is stable and operation is easy. Ion exchange resin can be conveyed continuously and timely. Resin bed can move down evenly in a stable status without layer confusion. |
