The stream source is the sewage generated from daily lives produced by residents living remote and dispersion. The sewage is often discharged into the rivers without any treatment. At present, the technologies applied to the treatment of the stream source are oxidation pond, constructed wetlands. In order to control the stream source effectively, adopting the hydrolysis/acidification technology pre-treat the sewage. This study focused on the hydrolysis and acidification of the stream source, and the influence of HRT, DO and different fillings. The sewage of the stream source was simulated by domestic sewage in this experiment. This paper studied the effects of fillers by adding two different fillers, and the effect of low DO. It also studied the removal rate at different HRT (4h, 6 h, 8 h, 12 h and 24 h).Experimental results showed that the hydrolysis/acidification technology achieved good results. It was good at treating COD and SS. But the removal of TP was not very effective, and the technology had almost no remove of TN. Filler1 has the highest removal rate of COD and SS ,were 67.77% and 96.03% at 24h. Filler2 has the highest removal rate of TP, was 27.70%.This experiment investigated the influencing factors: HRT, DO and different fillers. The results showed that the removal of COD and SS generally increased with HRT, however, the removal of TP was batter when HRT is short. Low DO increased the removal rate of COD and TP, but reduced the remove of SS. Low DO has the greatest impact on the combined filler. Compared two different fillers, founded that filler1 is appropriate for the removal of COD and SS, and filler2 is appropriate for the removal of TP.From the above, the treatment of the stream source by the hydrolysis/acidification technology can achieve high removal rate on COD and SS, but it seems not good at the removal of phosphor.
