Swirl nozzle is widely used in almost all sides of industrial area, transportation and communication. Because of the small size and complex shape of swirl nozzle, the current method of investigating swirl nozzle under complicated operating condition is mostly numerical simulation. A numerical simulation on internal flow of swirl nozzle under pulsating pressure is investigated in this page, and the change rules of atomization angle, instantaneous flow, average flow, flow amplitude and phase difference between pulsating pressure and instantaneous flow are analyzed with the variation of pulsating pressure frequency and amplitude.In this page, a mesh model of internal flow field is built based on the design drawing of swirl nozzle and two phase flow model and RNG k-εturbulent model are chosen. According to the swirl nozzle working condition, the numerical simulation of swirl nozzle internal flow is carried out by calculation software.In order to fully observe the influence of pulsating pressure on the nozzle outlet parameters, three groups of pulsating pressure with different amplitudes are calculated. The change rules of nozzle outlet parameters with the variation of pulsating pressure frequency under pulsating pressure with different amplitudes and the effect of the pulsating pressure amplitude change are contrasted.Meanwhile, a group of internal flow simulations of long-straight pipe and straight nozzle under the same working condition as swirl nozzle is calculated. The fluid flow characteristic parameters under pulsating pressure are compared with the swirl nozzle.
