The significant deterioration from NC machine tool dynamic performance occurred in the process of long time working. Monitoring the typical signal from key points of NC machine tool, evaluating and predicting the performance and status of NC machine tool, adjustment and process planning for machine tools to provide effective guidance, are the key to ensure NC machining capabilities.NC Machine Tool Dynamic Performance Monitoring and Analysis System is designed to solve the NC machine tool monitoring problems. Different kinds of sensors are used to collect the operating information and dynamic signals in the process of machining. The data analysis modules are used to identify and predict the performance of NC machine tool. The R&D work contained hardware modeling and software designing. The sensors and DAQ cards and host computer are chosen to meet the requirement of the system performance.The complication of the fault diagnosis algorithms are considered in the process of designing for DAQ module and data analysis modules, different kinds of mix-programming techniques are analyzed in the process of core performance module designing.The VC and LabVIEW mix-programming techniques are researched. Method of VC calling the EXE file for LabVIEW program is chosen to develop the DAQ module.Three kinds of VC and MATALB mix-programming techniques are analyzed. Method of VC calling MATLAB engine is chosen to develop the software for the data analysis modules such as stiffness and dampling for NC screw feed system identification module and bearing preload state recognition module, key points temperature rising prediction module.Some other modules in the system are also designed in this paper such as user login module, data displaying module, data storage module. At last the DAQ function and basic signal analyzing function and Machine tool identification function are verified by two experiments. The practicability of the mix-programming techniques are proved.
