| These days when people's interest in tourism is booming, the portable food incubator came into being. It's convenient, fresh and non-toxic and it's doing enough to meet people's demand for cooling and thirst quencher when they limb, tour and do other outdoor activities.A portable food incubator is composed of the Cold Thermal Energy Storage Material(CTESM) and an incubator. CTESMs are phase change materials (PCMs), pcakaged in a plate rectangular plastic box. The incubator is a rectangular-shaped box, composed of polypropylene skin with the polyurethane foam in the middle. In order to enhance the overall performance of the portable food incubator, in this article, first of all, we should improve the performance of CTESM, and even develope a new kind more substantial in cost-effective to replace the old; Followed, by studing the incubator, its structure gets optimizated to improve the utilization of CTESM and increase the fresh lasting performance; Finally, oriented to energy-saving, the place of CTESM in the reefer is explored when it's frozen.Based on the T-t experiment of CTESM, it's found that the degree of supercooling is a little bigger, and adding some nucleating agent is effective to reduce the degree of supercooling. And various ratio of nucleating agent selected is experimentally testing. As the result, 0.8% ethylene glycol and 8% SiO2 are effective. Besides, in view of the onset temperature of old CTESM of -10.9℃, we use salt water as CTESM and KCl as the main material for energy storage. Experiments show 19.9% KCl aqueous solution has onset temperature of -10.7℃. Besids, its degree of supercooling is 52.5% smaller than the the old and it's non-toxic and cheap, so we chose it as the new CTESM.Through experiment-tracking of the heat transfer of the portable incubator during the CTESM-melting process, T-t curves of those points detected are obtained and it's found that The loss of cold from bottom is very serious. Thereupon the structural optimization schemes of the incubator are proposed, whose thermal insulation properties get verified by ANSYS simulation. By deducing the relationships of various performance of incubator and thickness of the bottom foamed layer,it's infered that the thermal insulation property get improved at the cost of effective cubage ratio. While the composite thermal insulation material,which is composed by the vacuum Insulation Panel and the polyurethane foamed, can achieve the affect that the cooling load is reduced by 15.7% with the invariability of effective cubage ratio.As an energy storage material, CTESM is the role of the cold media in the energy chain, which needs to charge cold in the refrigerator. Different placing affects the charging time. In the article, laying flat on the cooling board, vertically on the cooling board and flat on the drawer three programs were compared. By experimental tests on the charging time of CTESM of three programs, simulation on the temperature field of reefer, and theoretical calculation on the thermal conductivity of the coolant plate boxes in different ways, the most time-saving program obtained. |
