| With the development of industrial production, shot-blast cleaning equipments for steel are used more and more widely. Subject to harsh working conditions, such equipments are prone to failure. As the users of such equipments are diversely distributed, on-site and remote controls of conventional shot-blast cleaning equipments are rarely satisfactory to low-cost industrial production or convenient after-sale maintenance. Therefore, it is of great significance to developing a remote monitoring system which is capable of remote maintenance of shot-blast cleaning equipments.With comprehensive investigation and consideration on the status quo of production and monitoring of shot-blast cleaning equipments, a remote monitoring scheme combining embedded on-site monitoring system and remote diagnosis center is thus established. It is inconvenient to perform remote monitoring and management of shot-blast cleaning equipments because they are diversely distributed. So B/S network architecture is introduced to realize remote monitoring through Internet ------ any user anywhere is able to access the equipment maintenance methods by logging in remote diagnosis center and viewing the monitoring displays through IE browser.With a combination of sensors and corresponding peripheral circuit, the hardware of the system centers on core LPC2214 embedded microcontroller unit of ARM7 family. On-site data collection, alarm against severe failure, automatic safety stop and remote diagnosis center are realized through image processing algorithms and relevant applications. The remote diagnosis center is developed on kingview6.52 platform from Beijing Asiacontrol Technology Development CO., Ltd. Monitoring interface, monitoring data management and web publishing of monitoring interfaces are realized on kingview6.52 platform. The diagnosis center can perform real time data exchange with on-site embedded devices. The security of the system is ensured via hierarchical access.Experiment and commissioning show that the system designed is featured with advantages of friendly interface, real-time data exchange, safe communication, stable property. The system is easy to use and it can well satisfy the remote monitoring and maintenance for businesses and other equipments. |
