| Automobile exhaust contains nitrogen oxides and other components cause great pollution to the environment. The study of removing NOx by modified catalyst with Non-thermal Plasma in order to protect environmental. The study of removing NOx by modified sepiolite catalyst with Non-thermal Plasma; preparation and characterization of the modified sepiolite catalyst and comparison with the results of the non-thermal plasma combined with the modified sepiolite catalyst and the catalyst of activated carbon from coal, respectively, the study provides a theoretical basis for Pilot to NOx removal from flue gas or automobile exhaust.Modification of sepiolite catalyst preparation results show that:after acid modification, the sepiolite carrier surface area were 100 m2/g more than 36.1m2/g surface area of ore sepiolite,The results showed that acid treatment did increase the specific surface area of sepiolite; in the ore sepiolite, containing a large number of Si, Mg, Al and other elements, and compounds with different forms and shapes. Load Cu element, the catalyst carrier formed in a variety of Cu phase, in addition to CuO species, there is also a small amount of Cu2O and Cu species; SEM analysis results that the Cu can be more evenly spread on the catalyst surface and pores, in the loading was appropriate, no large particles together to achieve a certain degree of dispersion. Copper content has a great influence on the activity and ultimately get the best of copper loading was 5%.The experiment results showed that the removal rate of nitrogen oxides under the best conditions:the reactor filled with catalyst; discharge voltage the higher the better; different catalysts have different inlet concentration, inlet airspeed, discharge power. (In this experiment, the best initial concentration of NO and space velocity is around 374ppm and 10.2s-1 under sepiolite catalyst and 256ppm and 6.1s-1 under coal-based activated carbon catalyst)... |
