| DDNP has been widely used in industry detonator because of a wide range of sources of its raw materials, lower manufacturing costs, free heavy metal ions and good performance. However, the pure DDNP primary explosive has produced mass wastewater which has seriously polluted environment and it is difficult to fundamental governance. Minimized primary explosives are discussed and studied during the diazotization reaction process of DDNP. The purpose is to reduce wastewater pollution by reducing charge weight of commercial detonator.Using chemical precipitation method prepared DP minimized primary explosive. One kind of DP minimized primary explosive has good performance with the test for primary explosive performance. Comparing with the pure DDNP primary explosive, it can not only drop mechanical sensitivity but also reduce the DDNP weight in the industrial detonator.Containing 30.86% PETN of DP minimized primary explosive was successfully prepared by orthogonal experiments. The characterization of DP minimized primary explosive is researched by Scanning Electron Microscope method. The initiation performance of minimized primary explosive is measured by limit dosage of primary explosive test,5 second delay time test, impact sensitivity test, lead plate perforation test and underwater explosion energy test in experiment. The limit dosage of primary explosive of it is 12g, as much as the pure DDNP primary explosive.5 second delay time of it is 180.0 degree and the activation energy is 91.97 KJ per mole, which shows that its chemical stability is superior to that of the pure DDNP. Blast percentage is 98%, which shows that its mechanical sensitivity is reduced to that of the pure DDNP. The result of the lead plate perforation test showed that DP minimized primary explosive has good initiation performance. The underwater explosive energy experiment shows that initialing energy of it has a certain rate of increasing compared with pure DDNP. |
