With the development of safe and efficient mine construction, tunneling under complicated geological conditions will inevitably bring new problems, this has seriously hampered the mine production, processes of mining and tunneling particularly become unsmooth. Rapid excavation techniques of coal roadway are implemented by the optimal allocation of excavation, support and transport, that is, rapid cutting, support rationalization, mechanized transport,and to maximize the level of a single feed and labor efficiency, to improve environment safety and project quality, to reduce cost and practical technology of coal roadway. In order to maintain the sustainable development of the mine, rapid excavation techniques are used in where high stress, complex roof, large cross-sectional roadway will become very important.This thesis is based on roadway of 121102 face, Liuzhuang coal mine.FLAC numerical simulation, actual measurement and theoretical analysis; rapid excavation techniques of coal roadway with compound roof and large cross section were studied. Firstly, the characteristics of complicated geological conditions in roadway of 121102 face were investigated; because the compound roof caving occurs easily, methane content and stress are high, faults are complex, together with large project quantity, and roadway excavation is affected. According to the optimum excavation height of the roof, comparative analysis of roadway cross-sectional shape, technique of step-graded support, man-made arch section and lagging support of heading face were adopted. The main influencing factors of the rapid excavation were analyzed, technical measures were proposed specifically, and the technical process and the plan of rapid excavation were optimized. The safeguard mechanism of rapid excavation was established, realized the parallel operations to a maximum, safeguard the safe and rapid excavation. Laws of surrounding rock deformation during the rapid excavation were obtained by field measurement; it is very significant for underground deep mining. Figure [42] table [37] reference [60]...
