At present, Organic polymer flocculant and Inorganic coagulants which have some drawbacks are the main flocculants used in Coal slurry treatment in coal preparation plant.. But microbial flocculant, as a non-toxic and green water treatment agent, has a great and far-reaching significance in coal slurry treatment.The main content of this paper includes some aspects. Two yeast strains of RY-46 and HY-62 which screened from coal slurry and biological flocculation were isolated, cultured and identified. And biological flocculation test was done by single strain and two strains together. Then Paenibacillus polymyxa and Aspergillus niger were used in biological flocculation test of coal slurry, and then they were seeded selection and tested by the methods of domestication, heat mutagenesis, UV mutagenesis and chemical inducement. Afterwards, the biological flocculation test of coal slurry was finished by Paenibacillus polymyxa with Rhodopseudomonas spheroids, Aspergillus niger with Phanerochaete chrysosporium.The results showed that RY-46, HY-62, Paenibacillus polymyxa, as well as Aspergillus niger have good effects of flocculation in coal slurry treatment. And the best flocculation rate of RY-46, HY-62 and their synergistic effect is 97.57%,98.07% and 97.11%. Moreover, the best flocculation rate of Paenibacillus polymyxa is 95.41%, 96.29%,97.62%,97.57% and 98.58% under the original state, domestication, heat mutagenesis, UV mutagenesis and cooperation with Rhodopseudomonas spheroids, particularly the best time of heat mutagenesis and UV mutagenesis is 120s and 5s. In addition, the best flocculation rate of Aspergillus niger is 95.41%,97.61%,98.21%, 97.71%,98.76% and 98.07% under the original state, domestication, heat mutagenesis, UV mutagenesis, chemical mutagenesis and cooperation with Phanerochaete chrysosporium, in particular the best condition of heat, UV and chemical mutagenesis is 90s,120s and 0.025mol/L sodium nitrite.As can be seen from these contrasts of test results, these strains which were used in the test have good flocculation. By range and variance analysis, collaborative strain increased mastery reaction in coal slurry flocculant, meanwhile, decreased dependence of coagulant dosage and pH value of coal slurry. In addition, there are improvements of Paenibacillus polymyxa and Aspergillus niger which were Improved by domestication, heat mutagenesis, UV mutagenesis, chemical mutagenesis. The reformative strains of Paenibacillus polymyxa and Aspergillus niger, under the conditions of domestication, heat, UV and chemical mutagenesis, can improve flocculation rate of coal slurry to some extent.The crude product of bioflocculant was analyzed by FTIR and SEM. Meanwhile, size analysis for coal slurry and composition analysis with XRD were performed, and flocculating mechanism of MBF for coal slurry was discussed in this paper. The results showed that it is a complicated combined course based primarily on the principle of Adsorption Bridging, and supplemented with Volume Sweeping Effect, Charge Neutrality and Class Exogenous Flocculent Condensed Meal, to achieve final sedimentation.
