Rotary hearth furnace process as a very valuable development metallurgical process, is currently a hot research topic, and rotary hearth furnace feeding problems even as a key technology issues, barriers to the rotary hearth furnace has been quality, yield and efficiency, despite the large number of workers in their feeding method of in-depth research, the current still can not meet the strict sense of the radial, circumferential material evenly. This breaks through the traditional theory - experimental research methods, based on discrete element granular flow theory, and the vibration theory, by use the discrete element simulating software PFC2D&3D study the uniform of vibration-type feeding process system of the rotary hearth furnace. The main contents are as follows:1. According to the special uniform feeding particularity of Rotary hearth furnace, and analyzes the typical of the feeding device simulating the advantages and disadvantages of the Rotary hearth furnace, vibration-type feeding can be used as the feasibility of the RHF feeder.2. According to the movement material on the vibration machine are a complex phenomena, combined with vibration theory different vibration parameters on the movement of materials research, access to state of the material in the vibration of the basic law of motion. And according to different specifications of the rotary hearth furnace, to meet the uniformity material requirements of the radial direction on the RHF, on the vibration machine set of different cutting curves, the number of balls fall from the cutting curves in different locations to measure the position of different radius of feeding the same material thickness requirements.3. With a stable source of material for the feeder, in a different vibration parameters can be achieved under the uniform fabric rotary hearth furnace requirements were studied. According to the software difficult to describe the characteristics of the uniformity of the material, the use of materials proposed to describe the porosity of the material uniformity within the furnace program, proven that the scheme is feasible.4. Further thick cutting curve on the other rotary hearth furnace feeder for uniform feeding of experimental research, access to real data, puts forward the improve scheme.This paper successful use of discrete element software, from a steady vibration to the material, the uniform radial linear over the next weeks, quantity, turn the furnace end of the three main aspects of material uniformity on the rotary hearth furnace feeding process to achieve a combination of numerical simulation Design and testing of theories program. Confirmed by DEM to study the rotary hearth furnace uniform feeding is feasible.
