The ultrasonic welding technology is a kind of solid state bonding method. The metallic material are welded by the welding pressure and the high frequency shearing motion. Carring on the welding between the metals using the ultrasonic welding technology is able to be well connection under lower than the temperature of the metal melting point. Therefore this method can be use to welding of dissimilar metals that have enormous differences in metallurgy properties. This article uses the ultrasonic welding method to carry on the connection between the 6061 aluminum alloys and the Ti-6A1-4V titanium alloy, and it has obtained the well welding joint, the Ti/Al dissimilar alloys is enabled to achieve the reliable connection. It has studied that the technological parameters(ultrasonic welding time, the welding pressure, the surface condition of the material and so on) have effect on the properties of the welding joint. Through the XRD, SEM, EDS and the metallography microscopic technology, the ariticle analysis the microstructure of the welding joint. And through the extension test, the tear strength test and the Micro-hardness tests, it can be used to evaluates the mechanical properties of the welding joint. The research indicated that it have the well ultrasonic welding performance between the 6061 aluminum alloy and the Ti-6A1-4V titanium alloy, and it have obtained that the best ultrasonic welding parameter is 150ms welding time,0.5MPa welding pressure. In view of the temperature instantaneous change's characteristic in the ultrasonic welding process, and the result of the interface reaction mechanism, it have established a two-dimensional finite element model to simulate the ultrasonic welding of the aluminum and titanium alloys. We can Obtained the distribution of the transient state temperature and stress in the ultrasonic welding process through the finite element analysis. It can provided the theory basis for optimizating and formulating the technological parameters in the ultrasonic welding.
