| In the dye-sensitized solar cell (DSSC), sensitizer is an attractive branch for new renewable energy source because of the low-cost materials and facile manufacturing in its production. There is no doubt that such pure organic dye sensitizer will have a very bright future. A lot of deeply studies have been done on this cell in the past decades. This article presents three new organic dye sensitizers at molecular level which are synthesized with methods such as Suzuki Coupling. Also, these dyes'structures are characterized by means of NMR. These three dyes are named Z1, Z2 and Z3. These are unsymmetrical functionalized organic sensitizers. A J-V characteristic curve is drawn in this article which reveals a short circuit of 15.12,14.89 and 13.26 Jsc/mA/cm2; an open circuit voltage of 752.7,734.8 and 719.4 Voc/mV. After calculation, satisfying photoelectric conversion efficiency is obtained under the standard sunshine which is respectively 8.29%,8.10% and 7.24%.A series of the tests, such as UV-Vis have also been done in this artical. The results are clear that with the extension of thiophene and its derivatives, absorption spectrums of dyes broaden, which lead to the redshift of absorption spectrum. All those should be attributed to the strong conjugated structure of thiophene. |
