With the development of world economy, the number of diabetes patients is ascendant. Because there is no radical treatment method, the diabetes is regarded as a one of the four diseases to seriously threat human health by the world Health Organization. Early detection and early treatment can heavily reduce patients' pain and reduce the cost of treatment. The current detection method is based on the detection of concentration of glucose in blood. Undoubtedly, to detect to concentration of glycemia timely and bodily is important for early discovery and early treatment of diabetes. Glucose biosensor plays a vital role in glucose testing procedure. People reported about preparation of ordinary rigid substrate glucose sensor commonly, but it in flexible substrate is few. Researching flexible substrate glucose oxidase electrode can achieve that glucose oxidase electrod is implanted in the human body. Reach a higher detection sensitivity and a faster response time of glycemia concentration in human body.ZnO nanometer material is one of the most hotspot materials that is the broadest prospect of research and application at present. Flexible substrate polyimide with folding and bending has advantages of easy to carry, to prepare ZnO nanometer materials on polyimide that can achieve to detect the concentration of glycemia timely and bodily. In this paper we grew ZnO nanorods on polyimide flexible substrate by hydrothermal method, and we also studied the Glucose biological sensing properties of ZnO nanorods. Mainly content as follows:(Ⅰ) Grew ZnO nanorods on polyimide flexible substrate coated Ag film on its surface, and analysised the principle of Ag film as seed layer to grow ZnO nanorods, Ag can as seed layer on flexible substrate to grow ZnO that is because silver membrane grow along the{111} facet which can form some small bumps that ZnO can nucleate on the surface and grow.(Ⅱ) Assemble ZnO nanorods glucose oxidase electrode by static adsorption method, and prove that it keep good biological activity of enzyme which is fixed on the surface of ZnO nanorods by fourier transform infrared spectrum. We study the sensing properties of enzyme electrode by three electrode electrochemical workstation. The glucose sensor enzyme electrodes has a good linear relationship in the concentration of 1.52×10-3mmol/L to 4.2mmol/L, meanwhile the response time fast as 4.6s.
