Chinese silvergrass is recognized as quality raw material of cellulosic fuel ethanol by home and abroad. The saccharification of cellulosic is the key technology of cellulosic fuel ethanol manufacturing technique, and the maturity of it directly affects the production efficiency of cellulosic fuel ethanol. With the Chinese silvergrass in Hunan Agriculture University Education and Research Base as material, the paper studied the new saccharification technology which integrated 60Co-γhigh-energy irradiation with cellulase hydrolysis, and preliminary researched the mechanism of 60Co-γirradiation resolved Chinese silvergrass and cellulose and improved the cellulase hydrolysis saccharification efficiency of Chinese silvergrass. The main research results are listed as follows:1. The reducing sugar production was 177.45 mg·g-1 when the Chinese silvergrass was treated by 1600 kGy irradiated.2. With no irradiation treatment, Chinese silvergrass was saccharified by traditional enzyme hydrolysis method. The optimized experiment result showed that: the reducing sugar production was 132.59 mg·g-1 when Chinese silvergrass was treated with 240 U·g-1 cellulase at 40℃for 60 h, and solid/liquid ratio was 1/65.3. The reducing sugar production was 281.36 mg·g-1 when Chinese silvergrass was treated by low dose irradiation treatment and saccharified in optimized conditions; the reducing sugar production was 461.74 mg·g-1 when Chinese silvergrass was treated by high dose irradiation treatment and saccharified in optimized conditions. The 60Co-y irradiation treatment method is propitious to improving the enzyme hydrolysis saccharification efficiency of Chinese silvergrass.4. Chinese silvergrass is quality raw material of cellulosic fuel ethanol that the content of cellulose and hemicellulose is more than 65%, while the xylogen is less than 10%.The irradiation treatment changed the surface configuration, component and crystallinity of Chinese silvergrass, and promoted the degradation efficiency. The 1600 kGy irradiation is optimal treatment for enzyme hydrolysis of Chinese silvergrass.5. Irradiation treatment changed the surface configuration and crystallinity of cellulose prominently. With the increase of irradiation dose, kinds of saccharide materials were degraded and generated from cellulose gradually. And most of the content rose with the increase of irradiation dose.
