We synthesized hyperbranched polyphenylene sulfide using one-step polymerization, and investigated the molecular structure of polymer by 1H NMR and FTIR. As well as determined polymer molecular weight and molecular weight distribution by gel permeation chromatography (GPC), using differential thermal scanning analysis (DSC) analyzed the changes in glass transition temperature of polymer influenced by polymer molecular weight. Doping polymer with leopoldite (KI,KBr,KCl,KF), lithium salts (high chlorine acid lithium, lithium bromide), organic quaternary ammonium salt (four butadiene styrene brominated ammonium, cetyl three methyl brominated ammonium), covalent compounds (BF3 ,I2), tested electrical performance of doping samples to study the changes in electrical properties influenced by different doped substances. And detected the concentration of different ions in solution by HPPS ion detection electrode.The results indicated that different material doped hyperbranched PPS, showed electron conductance and ion conductance differently. BF3 and lithium salts doped samples appeared ion conductance, and the rest appeared electron conductance; The electron conductance of doping samples changed slightly following the change of doping ratio, and no obvious rule; ion conductance of doping samples influenced by doping ratio, and there was a certain rule; Polymers doped with high chlorine acid lithium, lithium bromide, ion conductance increased in low salt ratio, then decreased in high salt ratio; Because of HPPS had moderate glass transition temperature, appropriate doping process could make polymer present ion conductance, therefore, could serve as a potential solid electrolyte materials. As a test electrode, in low ionic concentration the ratio of testing capacitance to ion concentration was a fixed value.This paper was divided into four chapters,the contents of each chapter were asfollows: Chapter 1: introduction. Summarized the synthesis, structure characteristic and research status of hyperbranched polymer and conductive polymers, and summarized the present research situation of hyperbranched PPS in recent years.Chapter 2: The synthesis and characterization of hyperbranched PPS. Using 2, 4-2 chlorobenzene sulfur phenolic and 3,5-2 chlorobenzene sulfur phenol as raw materials, polymers were synthesized by controlling the reaction conditions, using 1H NMR, FTIR, GPCand DSC to analyze the structure and polymerization process of polymer.Chapter 3: the study of doping conductivity. Using several different materials as doping materials, and analyzed conductive performance of doping samples.Chapter 4: Using hyperbranched PPS as ion selective electrode material, detected ion concentration in water solution.
