It is elaborated the status and development of treatment in wastewater with non-thermal plasma in this paper, and analyzed the mechanism of high-voltage pulse discharge, and the characteristics of discharge as well. From the study on degradation of the Reactive Red dye solution with the high-voltage pulse discharge synergistic flocculants, the conclusions are as follows:1. To select non-thermal plasma reactor with good performance, a kind of high-voltage pulse needle-plate plasma reactor is designed which has a good effect on the treatment of the Reactive Red dye solution.2. On the basis of the some identified structural parameters of the Discharge Reactor, we made a detailed experimental study on the parameters of treatment in printing and dyeing wastewater under pulse discharge, and obtained the law of the decolorization and changes in the organic content of the solution which are effected by the discharge time, the electrode interval and the peak voltage. The optimal parameters are as follows: discharge 20min, electrode spacing is 8mm, the peak voltage of 35kv, the solution is respectively the degradation of 88.23% and the decolorization of 68.14%.3. Studied the effect of the physical and chemical parameters of the initial dye solution on the treatment with different pulse discharge, compared the pH of the initial and treated water and concentration of organism, the results show that the pH of the solution is decreasing in the process of discharge, indicating a large number of organic acids generated in the process. In acidic conditions, the initial concentration of solution is 200mg/L, the degradation achieves best.4. Investigated the relationship between the treatment and air flow, it shows that the air can improve treatment effect of the dye solution effectively, particularly in the decolorization, inletting certain flow of air to the solution can speed up the decolorization of dye. In this study, the best air flow rate is 16L/h.5. Compared the effect of the flocculants cooperative with non-thermal plasma respectively, and then choose the best PAC, while considered the effect of treatment by the flocculants adding order, it shows that adding PAC after plasma, the snergy of PAC and plasma reaches peak.Through the research and experimentation of the these issues, we had a deeper understanding of non-thermal plasma discharge forms and the mechanism in the whole, by comparing the various physical and chemical parameters, and finally optimized the discharge conditions and structure of plasma reactor; choose the right flocculant which improve the water treatment, provide a reliable basic data for industrial pilot next step, meanwhile a theoretical basis for reactor designing.
