| Both from the angle of theory and practice, some aspects of modern ceramic furniture design were investigated in this paper, such as its prospect, artistic form and technical methods. It is understandable that ceramic, as a material, has the advantages of sustainable development. Therefore, introduction of ceramic to furniture design, from the historical and realistic perspective, provides a new approach to designers.Concept of return to the oriental family life, to arouse the historical awareness and cultural sense of belonging of modern life, thus has a cultural sustainable development. Derived from the above-mentioned, this paper discussed the situation of modern ceramic furniture design, analyzed the present difficulties, proposed road out of the woods. Finally, with some creative practices, this paper analyzing the artistic form and technical methods of modern ceramic furniture design. |
