With the SO2 emission standard being stricter and the development of domestic desulfurization, wet flue gas desulfurization technology has been widely applied with its high efficinecy and high reliability and low operating cost. Based on fluent software and two-film theory, the SO2 absorption model was built and written to UDF. Then the spray tower was simulated and the entrance of desulfurization tower was optimized by it. At last, the relationship of spray tower resistance characteristics and desulfurization efficiency wih load, liquid-gas ratio, and numbers of running layers were studied.These conclutions can provide theoretical guidance for the design and operation of the desulfurization spraying scrubber.There are mang modles to simulate the desulfurization spraying scrubber, including the standard k ?εturbulent model which describe the flue gas turbulent motion, the Discrete Phase Model which trace the movement of droplets, the SO2 absorption model which describe the mass transfer between flue gas and droplets. Those modles can be used to simulate the spraying scrubber and select the best angle of entrance of flue gas.The conclution show that: the entance angle of spraying scrubber have a important effect on resistance characteristics and desulfurization efficiency, the spraying scrubber has best performance when the entrance angle is 15°through compulation. In a word, this method can directly observe gas-liquid two-phase flow conditions in the tower and provide theoretical guidance for selecting the structure of the spraying scrubber.The operating parameters were always changed in actual operation of desulfurization spray tower. The paper studied the effection of different operating parameters to the resistance characteristics and desulfurization efficiency of spray scrubber The result is that: with the load, operating spray layers and the ratio of liquid to gas increasing, the resistance of spray scrubber also gruadully become high. The desulfurization efficiency was becoming higher with the load and opetaing spray layer increaseing and ratio of liquid to gas decrease.
