With the continuous development of computer technology and the continuous improvement of the level of automation, the automation level demands is increasing for printing,binding machinery and equipment industry,while more and more stringent quality requirements binding. In order to meet market demand, a wide range of printing and binding detection equipment came into being.Double coil forming machine, automatic double wire binding machine, automatic forming a single coil binding machine, punching machine and a variety of multi-function binding machine bring vitality for printing and binding industry page.In view of the domestic printing industry depending on imported equipment, complete sets of printing and binding equipment expensive, an area of large, energy many shortcomings, the paper develops a embedded ARM-based printing and binding quote the wrong detector.The system uses the S3C2440 processor, linux2.6.32 core, Qtopia desktop. Through application programming Interface video4Linux2 data structures provided by the application functions, it achieves USB camera image data acquisition in the Linux environment.Through Applications Qt library collection to display the picture and the peripheral CMOS camera to capture images in real time, NANDFLASH, NORFLASH, SDRAM memory and other logic controller were extended, using NEC 3.5-inch touch screen and other external devices to expand its detection. Fault detection equipment under test post text, graphics, quote the wrong choice of different real-time fault detection algorithm for identification post. Compile this program into the FLASH memory cure. The experiments show that the system achieve 94% accuracy rate in case of speed of not more than 5Hz to meet the requirements of printing and binding machines.
