The Zhungeer coal that low-sulfur and high-alumina is an importantpower coal, but the fly ash generated from Zhungeer coal combustion isextremely difficult to be collected by electrostatic precipitators(ESPs),resulting in a large number of harmful fine particles PM2.5 directly intoatmosphere. This thesis studies the kinetics of oxidation SO2 in flue gas byplasma that excited by narrow pulse power and the influence mechanism ofoxidation products SO3 on the surface properties of fine particles. Theresults show that: under the tradition power supplys, the intermittent pulsedischarge has the first desulfurization efficiency, secondly the highestaverage voltage control, and thirdly the spark tracking and critical sparkcontrol modes, in which the intermittent pulse has the lowest energyconsumption, it lower than the maximum energy that highest energyconsumption about 261W; The oxidation efficiency of SO2 increase withthe decrease of wind speed in ESPs, the reduction of initial concentrationof SO2 and the increase of moisture content in ESPs; We choose thethyristor-Blumlein high voltage pulse power supply design scheme, andsimulate the voltage waveform in ideal load using PSpice, getting the idealwaveform; Through the kinetic analysis, the impact of O2,H2Oconcentration, pulse frequency and the initial concentration of SO2 ondesulfurization has been calculated by MATLAB; In addition, we study theimpact of SO3 on dust resistivity, particle size, surface area, hygroscopic, invasive and adhesion in experiment, and finds that SO3 can significantlyimprove the surface properties of particles, improving collection efficiencyof ESPs. So this method will not only improve the efficiency of dustcollection but also removal some of SO2, achieving integration ofdesulphurization and dust collection.
