Research On Ecological Culture In The Building Of World's Modern Garden City

World's modern garden city is a green and sustainable city model, which needs corresponding urban ecological culture. By analyzing the history and logic of compatibility between city evolution and culture patterns, explaining the relationship of ecological culture and construction of world's modern garden city, and how to build ecological civilization and cultivate ecological culture in the construction of world's modern garden city.Firstly, this paper generalizes the representation ideas and schools from the angle based on evolution of human's nature view; on this basis, summarizes perspective of ecological thought of Marx under the angle of environmental ethics. Secondly, centers on the matched corresponding relationship between city evolution and culture pattern, analyzes different urban social pattern and its city culture, and compares the characteristics of city culture dominated by different civilization. Thirdly, focuses on the world's modern garden city, uses the principle of dialectical materialism, and analyzes the relationship between world's modern garden city and ecological culture: the former give birth to the later, the later breed the former. Finally, the theoretical analysis is applied to Chengdu, to construct world's modern garden city, we analyzes the strategic context, current conditions and specific practices in the building of ecological civilization and cultivating of ecological culture.Studies have shown that analyzing deductive logic of city culture from the angle of relationship between human and nature is more conducive to explain the compatibility relationship between the tangible urban material culture and intangible urban non-material culture. (1) Perspective of vertical history, the historical development context of compatibility between city evolution and culture pattern.(2) Perspective of horizontal space, the pattern evaluation of compatibility between city evolution and culture pattern.The relationship between world's modern garden city and ecological culture can be summarized that the former give birth to the later, ecological culture is the spirit requirements and organic composition of building the world's modern garden city; the later breed the former, ecological culture provide spirit incentives and culture nourishment of building world's modern garden city, promoting the sustainable development. The both develop jointly in the mutual integration, which resulting the transition of city.Chengdu has the conditions of constructing ecological civilization and fostering ecological cultural in the building world's modern garden city. To make the ecological culture integrate into the building of world's modern garden city in Chengdu, fostering ecological knowledge literacy, promoting ecological ethics spirit and pursuing ecological aesthetic feelings are needed, strengthen the ecological culture literacy, and improve the ecological culture qualities in the whole society. So government department should create a macro-environment, social organization should build a medium-mechanism, community and city residents should strengthen the micro-basis.
