| After cured by UV, the curing products which were changed from organo-silicone-acrylate resin formed by modifying silicone with acrylic acid owned the capability of resistance to high or low temperature,water and acid, including good mechanical properties. Therefore, the silicone material applications have good prospects.In this topic, we used DMC to synthesize hydroxyl—terminated silicone oil through bulk polymerization, then put forward a good method by comparing the advantages and disadvantages of the cross linking products whether the cross linker was added or not:using DMC to fuse hydroxyl-terminated silicone oil through bulk polymerization, after adding the cross linker, we added acrylic acid in the reaction system, and studied the structure and properties of the UV-curing-organo-silicone-acrylate changed form the organo-silicone-acrylate by UV curing. The chemical structure of the curing products was analyzed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, and the mechanical properties of them were tested by electronic universal testing machine.Main research results are as follows:1, whether the DMC or the silicone was used as raw materials, the adding of the cross linker would significantly improve the properties of the UV-curing-organo-silicone-acrylate.2, while using DMC as raw material and adopting bulk polymerization to synthesize polydimethylsiloxane, both the dosage of the water and the DMC polymerization time would affect the viscosity of the hydroxyl-terminated silicone (the molecular size), the less we used water, the longer the polymerization time of DMC was and the more the viscosity of the hydroxyl-terminated silicone was; On the contrary, all the effects were opposite.3, using Esterification to get organo-silicone-acrylate, the result showed:when the volume ratio of the hydroxyl-terminated silicone oil and the acrylic acid was 3:1, the amount of the cross linker was 6%, the mount of catalyst was 2%, the amount of inhibitor was 1.2%, the reaction temperature was 120℃, the amount of initiator was 4%, the properties of the curing products were best.4 Studying the the mechanical properties of the curing products whether the thinner was added, the results showed that:compared with the pure curing products, the ones which were added thinner had been significantly improved at tensile strength. In this experiment, we added cross linker and kinds of thinner to improve the UV curing products when the UV-curing-organo-silicone-acrylate was made, and at last got the UV curing products with good properties, which had important guiding significance to the study of the modified UV-curing-organo-silicone-acrylate. |
