In recent years, with the developing of communication technology, the traditional erbium doped fiber amplifier EDFA in silicate glass matrix can not meet the requirements of the information age. Through analysis the material properties of the wide-band fiber amplifier, this research aims to develop wide-band Er3+/Yb3+ions co-doped fiber amplifier material with excellent physical properties and spectral properties.Er/Yb co-doped fluoridephosphate, Er/Ce codoped fluorophosphate, Er/Yb/Ce codoped fluorophosphate optical glass was prepared by high temperature melting. Change the concentration of rare earth ions and adjust glass matrix. Testing density, refractive index, absorption spectra, fluorescence spectra of glass; Using J-O theory, calculation the J-O intensity parameters, fluorescence branching ratio, fluorescence lifetime of glass. Through theoretical calculations and spectroscopic properties testing, analysis concentration of rare earth and adjustment the glass substrate effect the spectral properties and reveals the mechanism between rare earth ions and substrate materials in fluorophosphate glasses.
