Since agricultural products have been broadly internationalized, the cotton industry is also facing increasingly fierce competition. So making this industry more intelligent and bigger, reducing the labor intensity of the operators, producing lint cotton with high quality, enhancing enterprises'international power of competition have become the main task nowadays.Firstly, this paper introduces the current status of domestic and foreign cotton processing, and compares the domestic cotton processing equipment with foreign ones, the studies the lint cleaner for detail, including working mechanism, designing principle, various factors that affect working efficient. Also, this paper makes the models of different grid bars, and tests their respective performances in cotton processing.This paper designs an adjustable separating structure. In order to control it, we design a lint cleaning process control system:the data acquisition part feedbacks the lint properties to host computer, which on basis of fuzzy control algorithm then gives control orders to control drivers. At the end, this paper accomplishes the lectotype of hardware and the designing of software.This paper realizes the automation of the saw-type lint cleaner, and it is of far-reaching significance for the quality improvement of cotton lint and development of cotton industry.
