Contain silicone flame retardant agent or flame retardant plasticizer due to generate contains Si—O—C key and—Si—C key protection carbon layer in combustion process. This is a more compact than conventional carbon layer of protection layer, have better heat insulation inhibitory effect and oxygen, better flame retardant role. And because silicon flame retardant agent after giving base material excellent flame retardant performances, but also can improve the base material of other properties (such as processing properties, mechanical properties, heat resistance, etc.), eco-friendly, flame retardant materials circulation use effect is good, can satisfy people of flame retardants stringent requirements, so silicon-based flame retardants in recent years and flame retardant technology the rapid development.At this stage, the silicone flame retardant are expensive, complicated production process and other factors, limiting its development, so that less amount of industrial production and application. Nevertheless, the emergence of such materials and created a new direction for the development of a flame retardant, and its enormous potential application prospects.This study polysilicon industry by-products four chlorinated silicon handling problems start,by silicon tetrachloride as main raw materials, the epoxy silane and four chlorinated silicon reaction or alcohol phenolic,epoxy silane and four chlorinated silicon crisscross reaction. 36 compounds were synthesized, found 12 species which have better anti-flammability or add plastic compounds and the synthesis of these compounds were studied.The synthesized compounds by IR, NMR and decomposition temperature, flash point, density, refractive index, structural charaterization and analysis , indicating its structure and the structral characteristics we need the same. The flame retardant and plasticizer performance of these compounds have been tested.
