Steel wire ropes are widely used in engineering, for example, in building towercranetions, mobile crane, mine, coal and so on. However, some of the special properties have attracted little attention. The rotational property is one of these properties, which can greatly reduce the using life of the steel wire rope and cause a security incident. This thesis focuses on the measuring method, developing the measuring device and drafting the measuring standard. The main contents and achievements are as follows.By collecting, translating and understanding the standard ISO21669 and taking into account the actual situations in our country, the measuring method of the steel wire rope rotation properties are developed.According to the main requirement of the measuring equipment in the standard ISO21669, the measuring device was designed and built.The measuring equipment and the measuring method have been validated. |
