| Preparing the structure and synthesis of novel high performance plastic alloy by using modification of polymer blend has become the main trend of domestic and foreign researches. In this paper, thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer(TPU) as the substrate adding nylon 6(PA6) prepared TPU/PA6 blend alloy. This blend alloy retained the characteris of TPU, and also has good tensile properties and antistatic performance by adding electrical carbon black. It reduces the costs and expands the use of TPU.The compatibility between the polymers is the focus in the study of polymer blends modified plastics. The properties of the blend modified plastic are reflected form the compatibility. Therefore, solving the problem of compatibility between polymers is the key problem in polymer modification. In this paper, we study on the key problem of compatibility in polymer modification. Then we identified research program to improve blending modification TPU/PA6 alloy compatibility.Based on the analysis of polymer modification process, the basic principle of polymer compatibility, introducing improved Huggins-Flory theory model, looking for the various influence factors of compatibility of TPU/PA6 blend alloy, and comprehensive comparison of judgment method of compatibility of polymer and improving compatibilizing method, then the compatibility condition of polymer was derived, and found that selection of appropriate compatibilizer and ratio is the key to prepare comprehensive performance TPU/PA6 alloy. It improved the compatibility of TPU/PA6 alloy by adding the self-synthesized compatibilizer EVA-g-MAH.In this paper, we also comprehensive comparison of the performance impact on the blend by adding different compatible agents and its dosage. First, the data was obtained from experiments by selecting several groups of formula. Eventually get a better compatibilizer and proportion for preparation TPU/PA6 alloy by the data analysis and theoretical analysis and experimental summary. Test results prove that we prepared integrated performance TPU/PA6 alloy.Analogy method was used to contrast and analyze the compatibilization effect of the self-synthesized compatibilizer and those sold in the market such as HDPE-g-MAH,POE-g-MAH,PP-g-MAH. Experiment compared the effect of the mechanical properties, morphology and crystal properties on the blend alloy. Based on analyzing and summarizing of the compatibilizer effects on the compatibilize of the TPU/PA6 alloy, the best methods to improve the properties of TPU/PA6 blend alloy was obtained. We also improved the antistatic properties of the blend alloy by adding 5% conductive black carbon. It makes the project has value and practical significance for industrial applications. |
