Based on complex lithologic distribution and strong heterogeneity of fracturedevelopment in Xinggu7buried hill reservoir, this paper presents a fine, quantitative andpredictive geologic study by using modern geologic analysis, longing and seismic technology.A systematic study is carried out according to the former achievements by making full use ofthe existing coring, formation testing, and analysis assay data.1. A fine structure interpretation is carried out in accordance with the technologicalthought of full3D structure interpretation by using newly3D seismic data, drilling, loggingand core analysis to determine the top of the buried hill, which lays a foundation for studyingthe characteristics of the inner buried hill.2. In this study, a qualitative and quantitative study method is adopted in lithologicidentification. In the identification process, the lithology of metamorphic rock buried hill isclassified into3types by firstly applying ECS logging data combined with rock chemicalanalysis data in the order of the quantity of dark minerals, and the correspondingcharacteristics of conventional logging curves are offered as reference. In the process oflithologic quantitative classification, the lithologic types are determined based on coreobservation and slice naming in this area. Logging corresponding characteristics of differentlithologies is summarized according to the observation result or naming result, then lithologicquantitative classification is conducted by using crossplot technique.3. First, the reservoir space type of the buried hill is determined by using mercuryinjection, electron microscope and casting body data. To identify fracture developmentinterval in the fractured reservoir, imaging log is used to describe the fracture developmentinterval and space distribution characteristics. To classify the reservoirs, the crossplot drawingby logging curve features of the production and formation testing interval is adopted. Then, based on the reservoir identification, logging corresponding characteristics of differentreservoirs is distinguished according to the different lithologies and with or withoutmacrofracture development belt.4. A3D geologic model is set up based on structure model and heterogeneity modelcombined with log parameter interpretation result. Vertically, the4reservoir concentrationintervals of the main part of Xinggu7block are classified into4calculation units to calculatethe reserves.
