Limestone water inrush from coal seam floor is the main water prevention problem in Northern China type coal field. Therefore, how to evaluate and prevent the water disaster from coal seam floor has an important practical significance for how to mine coal resource safely.Based on consulting foreign and domestic literatures related to research status of coal seam floor of limestone water and its research method, Panbei coal mine was analyzed in Huainan. On the basis of analyzing the hydrogeological conditions of mining areas, the test tunnel of the Taiyuan formation limestone has been constructed at the-490m level, and the multi-stage dewatering test in the C3I limestone groups was carried out. And according to its result, the conductivity and impermeable of different faults in the test area were analyzed systematically. Combined with the dewatering test data, aquifer parameters of the different block were calculated. And on the background of hydrogeological, the hydrogeology conceptual model and the mathematical model of the Taiyuan limestone have been established, and the aquifer parameters of the study area have being identificated and validated. Finally,taken advantage of the inrush coefficient method, and combined with the identified aquifer numerical model, the dewater quantity of limestone under the factor of safety was calculated at levels of-490m and-650m, which provides a basis for the hydrophobic buck of the coal A in the next step.
