Based on climate data from1979to2008and daily wind speed data from1970to2008of18meteorological stations in Hainan Ilsland, spatial distributions of climate resources which spatial resolution is100m*100m for Hainan Island are obtained and analyzed through spatial analysis technology of GIS and mathematical statistics method. According to the index weight identified by analytic hierarchy process and spatial distributions of climate resources for Hainan Island, rubber cultivation zoning map and the zoning diagrams of chilling damage and typhoon disaster risk of Hainan Island is done by spatial weighted stacking technique. The results can be used to optimize agricultural layout, advoid disadvantages caused by meteorological disaster, promote the sustainable development of natural rubber industry and increase of output of natural rubber for agricultural sector. In this paper following contents are researched:(1) Analysis of climatic resources in Hainan Island. Based on climate data of18meteorological stations during between1979and2008in Hainan Island, characteristics of the main agricultural climate resources inter-monthly and inter-annual changes are analyzed. Through mathematical statistics method, the spatial calculating models considered the influence of longitude, latitude, elevation, slope degree and slope aspect of climate factors are done. Using the spatial calculating models, raster distributions maps of five meteorological elements with grid resolution of100m*100m are obtained.(2) Risk evaluation and zonation of the low temperature and cold damage. Using frequency of minimum air temperature lower than5℃happened in Hainan Island and the lowest average monthly temperature as factors of risk assessment, risk regionalization map of low temperature and cold damage for Hainan Island is done. The high risk areas are distributed in Baisha, Wuzhishan, Qiongzhong, Danzhou, Chengmai and Lingao. The low risk areas are distributed in Qionghai, Wanning, Lingshui, Sanya, Ledong and Dongfang.(3) Risk evaluation and zonation of typhoon damage. Taking frequency of tropical storm, severe tropical storm and typhoon as risk assessment factors, risk regionalization map of typhoon damage for Hainan Island is done. The high risk areas are distributed in in Wenchang, Qionghai, Wanning, Lingshui, Tunchang, Sanya, Ledong and Dongfang. the Low-risk areas are concentrated in.. The low risk areas are distributed in Wuzhishan, Ledong, Changjiang, Danzhou and Lingao.(4) Agricultural climatic regionalization for the natural rubber planting in Hainan Island. Based on the climate data, using the Analytic Hierarchy Process method identify the indexes weight of13factors selected for agricultural climatic zoning wok for rubber. Relying on the powerful spatial analysis function of GIS, these13indexes are interpolated by using the spatial interpolation methods and the thematic map's result of the climatic suitability regionalization of the natural rubber planting in Hainan Island is generated. The result shows that the most suitable region accounted for16.6%, mainly distributed in the Hainan Island Danzhou, Baisha, Changjiang, Ledong; suitable region accounted for24.7%, mainly distributed in Haikou, Lingao, Chengmai, Qiongzhong, Baoting, Sanya; the sub-Suitability region accounted for30.8%, mainly distributed in Wenchang, Dingan, Tunchang, Qionghai, Wanning; not suitable region accounted for27.9%, mainly distributed in mountains that the elevation higher than350meters, Dongfang and Lingshui.
