Landslide is an important branch on geologic disaster and can become a key typical discussed problem in geotechnical engineering. There are many factors to affect the debris landslide stability. The debris landslide engineering is studied by various subjects and theory, so it is inevitable to be difficult and complicated field. At present, such is the fact that the debris landslide engineering practice is forward to theory research, including calculated methods and mechanical knowledge. It is an flinty challenge that new solution and innovated theory can be obtained and applied in the debris landslide engineering construction. Therefore, in this study, based on the original work of the field survey report in Hanzhong, Shaanxi, combined with the basis of some important measured data from high-risk landslide investigation and landslide control, a research on the formation mechanism and stability of the debris landslide is carried out.According to the first hand material of field investigation, find out the regulations through the statistical analysis method such as induction and analysis. The formation conditions of the debris landslide are discussed in terms of topography, earthquake, formation lithology, rock and soil structure, and the impact of water. The results showed that 16m height above S-type debris landslide easily formats landslideThe formation mechanism of the debris landslide is analyzed from four aspects of rainfall infiltration, earthquake inducing, and slope foot excavation.It proved that the water play a leading role in a landslide, is the core element to form the landslide. The earthquake and slope excavation feet is also the most important factors of the landslide, especially after the earthquake in three to five years, this effect is going to appear. It cannot be ignored in the process of studying accumulated layer landslide.According to the existing research, the existing mathematical model of the landslide deformation is improved to have good agreement with the actual situation in Southern Shaanxi. With a case study, by the strength reduction finite element method, adopting the general finite element software of ABAQUS, a consistent three-dimensional model with the actual slope is established to get a slope stability analysis for Li Zi Ya landslide and Da Shu Ping landslide.Based on the comparison of a lot of calculation and analysis with the actual local situation, the results show that the proposed method in this study is more agreed with the regularity of the debris landslide occurrence and deformation in Southern Shaanxi.The article provides the basis for the feasibility that using finite element analysis software "abaqus" to analysis the same type accumulated layer landslide. It can save you a lot of human and financial resources, play to the advantage of numerical simulation.
