The Fitting Analysis Of Site Type And Vegetation On The Western Slope Of Changbai Mountain - Subalpine

The fitting analysis of site type and vegetation type is a research which study the influence of site type factors (environmental conditions) on the vegetation growth and vegetation Variation, the research tools include GIS, RS technology and field surveys.Currently, under the guidance of the fitting analysis of site type and vegetation type in some developed countries, many countries in the world gradually carried out this research, and many research results has played an important role in many areas ,such as the laws of physical geography research, environmental protection, and forestry production. In this paper, we study at the the fitting analysis of site type and vegetation type on the the western slope of Changbai Mountain - subalpine 1700-2200m section. Using GIS, RS technology and field surveys as the research tools,we research the vegetation investigation site type partition, and soil water content determination, etc in this area, and the results indicate:(1) With increasing elevation, there appears continuous vegetation succession in the section of 1700-2200m on the western slope of Changbai Mountain. From low to high ,the vegetation followed by spruce-fir - birch transitional zone, mountain birch forest zone, birch - tundra zone. Vegetation type of the response was significantly above sea level.(2) At the same altitude, the response factor of the vegetation type is the slope and aspect. In general, the vegetation growth and development of the Schattenseite slope is better than the sunny slope; while at the same altitude and the same downward slope, vegetation growth and development on gentle slopes is better than steep slopes.(3)In the site of the section of 2050-2200m on the western slope of Changbai Mountain, the forest line appears successively. From high to low, the trend is steep slope, gentle slope, sunny steep, sunny slope.
