Honeycomb sandwich construction is a kind of special composite materials; they are widely in light-weight construction especially in reactors such as experimental Reactor project, Materials Test Reactor and Nuclear reactor core because of their high strength-to-weight and stiffness-to-weight ratios. With widely used in relative fields, the study on honeycomb sandwich is increasing widespread. At this point, honeycomb sandwich with simplify supported all edges under fluid influenced is studied in this paper. A systematic analysis for honeycomb sandwich structure, including the present situation and development trend at home and abroad is reported. A preliminary study is conducted for the nonlinear vibration characteristics of honeycomb sandwich, i.e. analyzing the change of Amplitude with excitation frequency and the influence of fluid to vibration.Attention is concentrated as follows:(1) As third-order shear deformation plate theory of shear stress along the plate thickness discontinuous, so using energy method correct the shear modulus of the third-order shear deformation plate theory, and using the improved third-order shear deformation plate theory build the nonlinear vibration equations of honeycomb sandwich;(2) Using the homotopy analysis method (HAM) solve the nonlinear vibration equations of honeycomb sandwich and analyze the change of amplitude with excitation frequency and study on the influence of fluid to resonance frequency.
