Based on the Windows XP platform and the VC++ development tool, the GPS secondary planet positioning system software is developed. The main aim is validate the rationality of the GPS positioning arithmetic which will be applied into GPS. The paper combined domestic with foreign research analyzes and compares the problems which needs attention during the processing of GPS dynamic navigation data. Then a comparatively accurate arithmetic is picked to realize the positioning in GPS system. At the same time it proves that constructing reliable function model is needed in the GPS dynamic navigation data process. The creative fruit of the paper is mainly on the detailed research to GPS positioning arithmetic which is realized in software including GPS satellite position calculation, GPS satellite speed calculation, coordination switch, receiver position calculation, receiver speed calculation and so on. The main arithmetic is realized in Microsoft VC++. The result of the GPS satellite positioning is shown on the interface, also compared with actual theoretic result.This paper applies fake distance measurement to positioning also commonly used minus second method in GPS positioning calculation. Ironsphere correction and troposphere correction is mainly in error correction. The realization of positioning method is demonstrated in VC++ , and the data used in the calculation process is downloaded from the satellite, so the result on this base is true, reliable , and realistic.The main works as follows: Firstly in the paper, introduce the composition and application of GPS. Then it presents the principle of GPS navigation and orientation. At the fourth chapter, the Kalman filtering arithmetic for dynamic GPS is emphases. This dissertation mainly studies functional models and their computation algorithms in arithmetic of GPS secondary planet positioning. Then the positioning data received from GPS receiver are in coordinate of WGS一84, while the results of dredging positioning are in local coordinate, so the coordinate transformation is needed, in this paper the transformation mathematical models of different steps are established. Finally all kinds of error correction formulas are studied, such as ironsphere correction, troposphere correction and so on.
